Come play with us! Exploration Station is a play-based STEAM program for our junior scientists! We will have several learning stations available for preschool-aged explorers, and together we will learn to find science and art all around us! As part of NCSciFest, we will celebrate inventions and innovations from the state of North Carolina this month.
Star Lab!

Experience a planetarium show in the Harrisburg Library! Shows will run at intervals with presenter breaks. Check the online calendar for weekly topics. The Star Lab is courtesy of the State Library of North Carolina.
NC Rocks!*

Do you know what a rockhound is? At this program, we will discover the best rock-hunting sites in the area as well as learn what you should (or should not) do while rockhounding in North Carolina. Registration required.
Statewide Star Party
Ages 6-11 | HAR | Mon. Apr. 8 | 1:30-3:30pm
Help celebrate “Sun and Moon” during the 2024 eclipse with games, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and more! Please note that the Star Party will take place indoors and will have no guided eclipse viewing, but patrons may come and go from the event. NCSciFest's annual Statewide Star Party is made possible through the generous support of the NC Space Grant.
